Our giant puppet performances include roaming street theater, parades and ceremonies.

Standing between 3 and 5 meters high, and up to 20 meters long our puppets connect with audiences through movement, gesture, dance and humour.

WORKSHOPS

Giant Puppets
Learn the basics of making giant puppets in a community setting and culminate in a performance or processional event. The puppets are usually between 2m and 5m tall and require between 1 and 5 people to operate them. Minimum four one-day workshops plus one storytelling workshop to generate the puppet themes. Suitable for all adults however younger children could participate with adult supervision.

Lantern Making
Create illuminated magic by learning the skills to design and create paper and cane lanterns for processions, festivals and community events. Constructions can be from the small to the elaborate. Anywhere from 2 hours to weekend workshops for larger lanterns. Suitable for all ages.

Mask making
Learn how to make and use masks for theatre, processions and fun. Usually two- day workshops over two weekends.  Suitable for ages 10 and up.

Flag making
Design and create giant colourful printed flags for events and placemaking. Learn the art of flag raising, waving and performance.   At least one day workshop. Suitable for ages 14 and up.

Musical Madness
Harmony from noise. Learn to create and play unique instruments. One day or weekend workshop.  Suitable for ages 10 and up.

Funky Retro Eco Wear
Revamp your old clothes or make new ones from recycled, found and hand-made materials. One day or weekend workshop.  Suitable for ages 10 and up.
